The Best Squarespace Font Combinations

Graphic designers usually have a reputation for being typography snobs, I am admittedly one of those snobs! Typography is more than just letters on a page, its purpose is to not only be pleasing to the eye but also be legible and get the message of your brand across. It should make your followers feel a certain way.

If you’re a Squarespace user then you know they have tons of different fonts to choose from for your website. The basic uses are:

Heading One

Heading Two

Heading Three

Normal

"Quote"

It is important not to mix too many font styles. Stick with two or three. Too many styles looks messy and unprofessional. Keep your type combinations clean and simple. If your brand has a script or display font, use it as an accent, never as body copy. Most importantly, have fun! Playing with type is great. There is so much you can do to get your brand’s message across.  Below are some of my favorite font combinations that you can use in Squarespace.
