Frequently Asked Questions
Who do you work with?
To put it simply, I work with creative entrepreneurs. What exactly is a creative entrepreneur? I like to break it down into four categories: Artists, Makers, Movers and Shakers.
Designers, painters, photographers, writers etc. looking to establish their personal brand and be seen online. Artists hire me to help them create a consistent brand that establishes them as a creative expert and a website that attracts all those dreamy clients straight to them.
Artists that make or sell a physical product and need to sell it online. Makers hire me to help them plan out their business vision, get consistent with their brand and get their products sold online.
Yogis, dancers, musicians, athletes etc. hire me to help them organize their portfolio into a clear and consistent brand and show their dream customer just what they can do.
Health and life coaches, therapists, activists and consultants hire me to help them showcase their brand and attract the all those dreamy clients.
Do you offer payment plans?
Payments are broken into three. To book your project, I require a 33% deposit. Two weeks after your projects starts, the next 33% is due. Four weeks after the project start date (or at completion, whichever is first) the final 33% is due. I understand the huge investment it takes to style your brand, so in certain cases, four payments can be made over 8 weeks.
What will my website be built on?
I use Squarespace to build my clients’ sites. It’s versatile, easy to use and affordable. Head over here to read more about why I love Squarespace.
I need other design materials like business cards and fliers, can you help me?
Yes! I can add those items on as needed.
I already have a brand identity; can you design my website?
Typically I like to work with brands that have established brand guidelines. If you have those in place then I would be happy to talk more about working together! If not, the One Feather Package might be a good place for you to start.
Are there any extra costs?
Your business cards and any additional collateral materials will cost extra to be printed. The price will vary based on your paper quality and the amount you order. Your Squarespace site comes with a free domain but you will need to pay Squarespace the monthly hosting fee. See more about Squarespace pricing here.
What printer do you use for things like business cards and stationary?
I really LOVE Moo.com and use them for my client's collateral materials. There are times when you might want to use your local printer or a different online provider. In that case, I will just provide you with the files formatted and ready to go. See more from Moo below.
